Miss C

Caught some great photos of Charlotte watching the baby monitor, waiting for her “bruddy” bestie to wake up this morning…

This afternoon, C came with me to pick up Henry from school. When he saw her, he grabbed her and said “Charwe, i miss you today!” And gave big huggies.

They walked out hand in hand.

Such sweet little loves.

Goofballs

How silly are these little munchkins? Both kids came running out of my room on Monday, each wearing a pair of my glasses… and of course, thinking they were the funniest nuggets the world has ever seen.

Their Love

“When I grow up, I will marry my brudder, Hemy!” C has been proclaiming lately. I don’t have the heart (or see the need) to explain why that is just not going to happen… but the meaning behind it is so sweet.

Charlotte loves her brother. She trusts her brother. She finds comfort in her brother.

Charlie wants to “marry” her brother because they “wuv eachovers” 💕

These two little people are amazing apart and amazing together. It makes my heart absolutely melt and flutter and all the cliche shit. But it’s true. They love eachovers and that is the most beautiful thing in the world.

Sibling Chats

<Overheard this morning from the driver’s seat>

Henry: Blah blah blah blah blah blah

Charlie: One more time, Hemy. I no unnerstand you.

Hemy: blah blah.

Charlie: I just can’t talk to you right now. I goin’ to my new school to work out. But don’t worry a’cuz ‘grooooowwwwnnuups come back’ <sung to the tune of the Daniel Tiger song’>

Besties in the Making

It’s starting!! They’re becoming friends and it just makes my heart explode. Tonight when Henry and I came home, Charlotte exploded with pure excitement as she ran over to Henry, threw her arms in the air and lunged toward him to give him the biggest (yet gentle) hug ever.

So. Dang. Cute.

Then, this… This video is everything:

Then, as Charlie and Mark left for swimming, C gave Henry a big hug and said, “bye Henry! I love you!”

Melting.
