My husband and I met when we were about 9 or 10 years old at summer camp. I’d love to say, “and the rest was history,” but it wasn’t so simple. We were friends forever, varying in closeness throughout the years, until finally things changed. It wasn’t some stolen stare or earth-shattering realization that helped us find our fate of taking on the world together… it was good ole’ fashioned alcohol. Sangria to be exact…
A lot of great things start with alcohol, right? Whatever, either way, I wouldn’t take that drunken kiss back for anything. Because now – three and a half years later – I am married to my long-time friend, living in our beautiful home with our sweet puppito and angry kitty, playing house together, forever.
