A Not So Good Night… Err… Morning

While our little princess slept 5 hours consecutively again last night, she didn’t follow up with any additional sleep. We woke up at 4 am and since then, missy miss has been quite demanding. She’ll eat for 4 minutes, fall asleep, then I’ll put her down and she’ll be up demanding more milk (aka mommy snuggles) within minutes. This pattern has been nonstop until mommy the sucker finally gave in. Now, we’re here…

If you need me, I’ll be on the couch. Today is going to be a lazy… whatever day it is.

Earlier this morning, I sent daddy this pic of his sweet girl nursing with the caption, “This is where I’ll be today. Don’t bug me or I’ll scream.”

Within seconds, she confirmed my interpretation with this giant, “f you, mommy.” Such a princess ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. YOU my friend are doing a great job! Love your attitude ๐Ÿ™‚ Elliot also flips me the bird, but have never successfully captured it on film. Have an amazingly lazy day….I think it’s Thursday but I am not entirely sure ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Ugh! Nealia had her days and nights mixed up for about 4 weeks…totally sucked…she was ready to party between 10pm-2pm–prime sleeping time for mom and dad haha. She’s all good now, with an occasional bad night. I started the side lying BF position and we have her in a Co-sleeper connected to my side of the bed, so i don’t have to get up. That changed my life and now I feel well rested everyday. Sleeping patterns do happen and they get easier and better and longer! Good luck–sleep is a hot commodity these days!
