4 Weeks, 1 Day (taken in the bloated evening… before it was confirmed that I was pregnant) *Actually 2 Weeks, 5 Days

8 Weeks, 1 Day (taken in the morning). If you’re wondering why I’m always laughing, it’s because of my husband / photographer. He makes this weird face like you would for a child… gets me laughing every time! *Actually 6 Weeks, 6 Days

8 Weeks, 1 Day or 10 Weeks, 6 Days (taken in the morning)… Until my next ultrasound on November 25th, I’m officially refusing all due dates and am lost somewhere between 8 and 11 weeks. Please note my sweet puppito in the lower right corner. What a babe! **Actually 8 Weeks, 4 Days

9 Weeks, 4 Days (taken in the morning). I wasn’t in the mood for a picture today. My husband’s remark, “As you get bigger, taking photos is going to get harder and is going to be less fun…” I concur.

10 Weeks, 5 Days (December 4, 2013). This is my happy face today… laced with hormones, exhaustion and a whole heck of a lot of snot.

11 Weeks (December 6, 2013) – I feel like every week of this trimester has looked different, but not progressive. I’m guessing that my BFF, bloat, has been playing a large role.

12 Weeks (December 13, 2013). We finally hit the 12-week mark! So exciting. As for my tum, in this picture, it doesn’t look much different, but clothed it’s more noticeable. Could be bloat, could be baby, could be fat. Regardless, there is more there now than there was before. And the baby is the size of a lime!

13 Weeks (December 20, 2013). Today the little babe is anywhere between 2.5-3 inches! Crazy how fast he or she has grown and will continue to grow these coming weeks. By next week, the baby will be 3.5-4 inches! Crazy stuff. Anyway, my stomach doesn’t look so different in this picture, but it’s definitely more noticeable in clothes.

14 Weeks, 4 Days (December 31, 2013). It’s officially my last pregnant day of 2013! As of tomorrow, it will be the year our baby comes!

15 Weeks, 5 Days (January 8, 2014). I feel like my little belly is really shaping up to look pretty darn pregnant. I know that’s the point, but I was so surprised when I saw this picture, I made my husband examine it… at which point he reminded me that he knows because he took the photo. PS: taken in the morning.

16 Weeks, 5 Days (January 15, 2014). I need to get better at posting on Fridays. Anyway, the belly continues to grow. Not sure if its much different than last week, but maybe a little. PS: Toby’s not wearing a sweater. That is called a puppy bumper, which is a weird collar thing to prevent him from fitting through the slats in our fence. These are 5 lb dog problems.

17 Weeks (January 17, 2014). I haven’t worked out once this week, which did not leave me excited for this week’s photo. But, our little baby is growing in there and is 4.5-5″ and 3.5 oz already!

18 Weeks (January 24, 2014). Another new week is here and only 2 more until I hit the half-way point! So exciting I can’t even stand it.

19 Weeks (January 31, 2014). I can’t believe tomorrow is February and that next week is the halfway point. Time is really flying! As of now, I’ve gained about 10 lbs, which is okay… maybe a touch high. I’m feeling great, loving life and really enjoying being pregnant. In fact, this morning I felt a super baby movement that I thought could have potentially been felt from the outside. I’ll have to pay attention… seems like it’s coming soon!

20 Weeks!! (February 7, 2014). We are now officially half way through the pregnancy and time really has just been flying! Only 140 days until we get to meet our sweet nugget. Also, yesterday marked the first day Papa Mark was able to feel the baby kick! Such milestones.

21 Weeks (February 14, 2014). Bump check from NYC… Happy Valentine’s Day!!

22 Weeks… 5.5 Months! (February 21, 2014). I can’t believe it’s already been 5.5 months! What a crazy little journey it’s been so far. My body is definitely changing and things are really starting to feel more real. I can’t believe this small nugget will be here in under 5 months!

23 Weeks (February 28, 2014). I can’t believe next week I’ll be 6 months! That just seems SOO pregnant. My belly is definitely growing and is still looking pretty darn pointy, right? Silly little baby bump…

24 Weeks… 6 Months! March 7, 2014. Where does the time go? Seriously! I cannot believe we’ve made it to the monumental 6 month mark. I’m not sure why it feels SO important, but for some reason, I’ve always had 6 months in my head as the time when you become REALLY pregnant!

25 Weeks (March 14, 2014). Bump check from SUNNY Mexico!

26 Weeks (March 21, 2014). I cannot believe I’m 6.5 months! When did that happen? Also, I must note that I’m very glad my stomach isn’t as flaming red as it was a few days ago. It is getting pretty large though. The baby is about 1.75 lbs and 14″ now! And, she’s a little kicking monster. This morning, I’m pretty sure she actually wound up and kicked my bladder full-force. Such a stinker.

27 Weeks (March 28, 2014). Well, well, well. I’m definitely getting pretty darn big. It’s crazy… I don’t recognize my own body. But, I’m feeling great (pregnancy wise) and working to fight off this ick. Also, how cute is Toby? I swear I didn’t even call him. He just followed us into the room and sat down to watch me. So cute.

28 Weeks… 7 Months! (April 4, 2014). Okay, it’s official… I’m getting HUGE! This buddah belly is really shaping up… and out… and to the side! Our sweet girl is really getting big now and so are her kicks! She’s nearly 15 inches and weighs about 2.2 lbs… a real giant!!

29 Weeks, 5 Days (April 16, 2014). So, with all the craziness of this past week, I totally forgot to post my 29-week photo. But, here it is a few days shy of Week 30. The belly continues to grow, although, I only gained 2 lbs over the past 3 weeks! Not too shabby. The princess is now over 15 inches and weighs 2.5 lbs… well, if she’s “normal size”, which her parents are not… we’re tiny people. Well, Mark’s 5′ 9″…. but I’m 5′ 1″… so I’m guessing she’ll be pretty tiny like her momma. When the doc took my measurement, she said she was small, too! So, we’ll see!

30 Weeks (April 18, 2014). I can’t believe in 10 short weeks, this little lady nugget will be here! Guess we should probably get going on naming her, huh? As for the belly… it’s definitely growing, as is she! She’s about 15.7″ and 3 lbs! Holy smokes… I remember when I thought an ounce was big. Can’t wait to meet our little squirmer.

31 Weeks, 2 Days (April 27, 2014). Our sweet girl is now the size of a pineapple!! 3.3 lbs, 16.2″… Ish! I can’t even believe it. She’s getting so big and time is just flying. I can’t believe that we are in single digits now… Only 9 weeks (or so) until we meet our girl! I can’t even stand it… I’m just so excited.

32 Weeks… 8 Months! (May 2, 2014). HOLY SMOKES! How has it already been 8 months? I can’t believe our little girl is already 4 lbs and nearly 17″(ish). That’s just crazy. And me… well, I’m obviously getting larger! Today the dude that fills the vending machine at our office gave me two free (and unsolicited) bags of snacks. I must look hungry? Or ravenous? Maybe it was his version of throwing a piece of bloody meat to a tiger and making a getaway. Whatever. I ate the pretzels happily.

33 Weeks (May 9, 2014). Somehow it’s already Friday! I’m not going to complain, but this week literally flew by. I’m definitely feeling bigger… at least today anyway. And, I think as our little munchkin beefs up, my belly is looking more and more as if I swallowed a basketball. As for that growing munchkin, she is a pineapple! 17.2″ and 4.5 lbs (ish). That’s crazy. I can’t believe we only have 49 days to go!

34 Weeks (May 16, 2014). Well, it’s somehow been 8.5 months already, which just seems like SO long. This week I feel like my belly has really “popped” so to speak. I feel giant-sized. It’s getting difficult to put shoes and socks on, my back is aching like crazy and I just feel VERY pregnant. With that said, I also feel like we’re in the home stretch now. Only 6 more weeks… and 2 more weeks until I’m 9 months pregnant. It’s just crazy. According to my phone app, she is weighing in at around 5 lbs (no wonder my back hurts) and measuring at nearly 18 inches. So crazy…

35 Weeks (May 23, 2014). Another week has gone by and now there is literally only 5 left… that feels absolutely crazy. Baby is a giant, mommy is a giant… everything is big now. My belly button is working hard to stay an inny, but definitely pokes out… it’s not on outy, but it looks like a volcano.

36 Weeks… 9 Months (May 30, 2014). 9 months is here. Seems crazy… Just four short weeks to go until we meet our girl. Not sure I can get any bigger, but I’m sure my body will prove otherwise. If I hear anyone else tell me I look like I’m ready to pop or like I’m carrying twins, someone gets hurt. End of story.

37 Weeks, 4 Days… FULL TERM and then some (June 10, 2014). I can’t believe I’ve somehow made it to full term. I remember thinking 20 weeks felt so far, and now here we are in the home stretch. Our little mini warrior has been growing like a champ and making my belly bulge. And soon, we’ll be kissing her sweet cheeks. I just can’t even wait. As for the tum… it’s giant, still looking pretty high, and forcing me to wear some pretty interesting outfits lately.

38 weeks… 9.5 MONTHS PREGNANT! (June 13, 2014). Okay seriously, there are only 2 more weeks until my due date. That is crazy. Unfortunately, you can see that this stubborn little woman is still high as ever and refusing to drop. It’s surprising that she’d be stubborn, right? Also, look at Toby. I mean, is he for real? Why is he the cutest dog ever?

39 Weeks (June 20, 2014). Somehow it’s already a week before the due date; however, I’m not going to lie, knowing that my doc will let me go another two weeks makes it feel like we’ve still got some time. I’m starting to think my womb might be like the Ritz… this girl just doesn’t want to check out. So she continues to grow – as do I – and now measures (according to my phone app) 20″ long and weighs about 7.25 lbs. That’s crazy.

40 Weeks… 10 Months! (June 27, 2014)… THE due date! It doesn’t feel real AT ALL to think that today marks my 280th day being pregnant. HOLY SHIT. That’s what I have to say. Honestly, I guess I would have thought I’d feel disappointed if she didn’t arrive on or by today, but really, I woke up really happy. Today is a huge milestone and it’s just so exciting. Plus, I feel good! Some mild aches and pains, but I feel really good and more importantly, really happy. By the way, that’s a very weirdly shaped and GIANT belly… but, enjoy it! It could be the last of the belly pics… or there could be two more!
