I don’t know about you, but I am a total nickname person. I rarely call my husband by his name unless I’m mad, at which time it usually sounds more like, “Mark – kah.” Otherwise, he’s Marky or Babe or Baby… or Lovey… or Marcus… you get the idea… I love nicknames.
When it comes to Charlotte, the same holds true. That small child has SO many nicknames, it’s a little crazy.
So, before I forget them or before she demands I call her “Char” or something way cooler than anything I currently call her, I thought I’d get them all down on the record.
- Charlie (this is probably the most common)
- Bunny (this or any of the following variations are the second most common)
- Bunny Girl
- Bun Bun
- Bun Buns
- Bunzo
- Bunzo Benini
- Lovey Girl
- Charlie Girl
- Charlie Pie
- Charlie Face (this is a Mark nickname)
- Charlie Poo (Mark again)
- Sasquatch (this is what we call her when she’s sassy)
- Tiny Person
- Tiny Face
And those not used as frequently…
- Sassy face
- Sassy pants
- Pumpkin
- Baby
I feel like that’s all of them… am I missing any?
Does anyone else do this or is my sweet little lady the only one who took forever to learn her name(s) because she has so many!
Playing House 
I call my baby girl Bug all the time, but that’s the only nickname I have for her. She has learned her nickname, and she has learned her real name thanks to my family because I rarely call her by her name. You are not the only one!!

Jillian was a yummy plump baby so I used to call her “munchkin” and “meatball” and even wrote a song about her called “Meatball girl”. Sometimes in public when she’s not answering and is distracted as I’m trying to get her attention I’ll call out “Meatball!” and (ahem, 21 years later!) it still works- gets her every time! Lol

So fun! We also call Nora bunny & bun-bun! Ava had way more ridiculous variations, we’ve stuck pretty much to the 2 for Nora and I love that she knows those names are hers 😊
Where did you get bunny? I can’t really remember when we started, but I always attribute it to Charlotte’s bunny halloween costume… Or did I get the costume because I call her bunny? Ugh. Who knows!?
Well she was due 2 days before Easter so I had kinda started calling her my bunny baby before she arrived! She ended up coming 3 weeks early but it stuck!
