To say that I’m struggling with nursery ideas would be a total understatement. I am SO lost. I keep thinking I’m ready to go in one direction and then something makes me change my mind.
I know that generally speaking, I like the neutral colors… grey, cream, beige… with accent colors… maybe blush… or turquoise… or lavender…
But then I have my moments where I think I want to be a little brighter with my choices and then I get totally lost. Ugh.
Can someone just design the damn room for me? I really suck at making decisions. The same thing happened with our wedding… I was totally paralyzed in making any decisions, so we decided to move our wedding date up by 5 months and plan the whole thing in 3 months. I promise, that will help you make decisions 🙂
Anyway, I know I need to decide, but nothing has really wowed me.
I sketched this last night to try and organize where things will go and what kind of furniture we’ll need…
I’ve been toying with the idea of doing polka dots on one accent wall. But really, I just don’t know.
Here are some cute mobiles I found, too!
This first picture is by a lady who had a REALLY cute little lamb mobile on her Etsy page, but now it appears to be gone. <TEAR>
Thoughts?
All of these are SOOO cute!!! Love the polka dot ideas! If you know where you are registering I’d try and look at bedding at those places and find one you like and then work off of that (at least that’s what I did and seemed to suit how my brain works on projects- but everyone is different!) I really love all these pictures and ideas- I can see why you are having a tough time!
That’s what a couple people have told me! Maybe tonight I will go on a search for the perfect bedding 🙂 I think regardless, I’m ready to start making decisions.
Yay!! It will feel so good : ) Best of luck to you and Happy 22 Weeks!!
I love all these ideas! Super cute and not overly babyish, if you know what I mean? I tried to steer clear of too much of a theme per say because we’ll just redo the room again when Charlie is a toddler and has her own likes to chime in on. We went with grey, greens, pinks, and teals. Ultimately I found this gorgeous quilt on Etsy, ordered it and went from there. Off that one piece I was able to slowly pull together her nursery. Now if I could just put it all together! Construction zone currently. lol
Good luck! I can’t wait to see the finish product. You have great taste, so I’m sure it’ll be beautiful.
Do you have pictures? I’d love to see the bedding and the room! Also, is your little Charlie a Charlotte?
Ill post pictures soon!
And yes she is 🙂
