At the ripe age of 3.5, Miss C finally got her first haircut… shampoo and all! All said and done, she did a pretty great job (WAY better than Henry, although that says literally nothing).
She didn’t quite get the “straighten out your head” or “look down” OR “stay still” concepts, but whatevs! She wanted to look in the mirror, plus, the chick next to her had foils, which is weird for a hair salon newbie and obviously requires a few deep stares and quick glances.
Regardless, I think she loved it. When she saw her daddy, she told him that they cut “this side” (pointing to her hair on the left), but not “this side” (pointing to her hair on the right).
C: “Or was it this side and not that side?”
Me: I think she cut all of your hair
C: yeah. I think they cut all of it.
Mystery solved.
Oh! And bonus, she got to slam a can of juice before her appointment and got a tiny toy airplane from a guy who worked there, which Charlotte informed us that “she always wanted.” See Charlie, dreams do come true 💕
